However, this survey form is for my present career of ‘professional speaking and appearances,’ and not a method of speaking with ‘fans’ about wrestling history. As a ‘Professional Speaker’: Why Should You Consider Me for Your Event?
For years it’s been obvious that ‘I can talk’ and always have ‘something to say’ – and am willing to speak in an extremely candid manner.
In my professional wrestling career, certainly my mouth (backed up fortunately by my size, strength, skill and willingness to engage) was a huge factor in my success – the success of my wrestling promotion company – and helped to fill arenas all over the US.
Still a passionate man, now forged, tempered, and refined on the anvil of life, I believe I still have ‘something to say’ – something of tremendous value to share – that can be entertaining, empowering, encouraging, and supportive, even life-changing.
I ‘keep it real’ speaking the truth about life – about ‘choices and their consequences.’
From the ‘explosive experiences of my life’ and the hindsight provided, I can speak about moral and ethical principles that ‘make or break’ your life and so dramatically affect those around you – and also address the powerful issues that affect us from our childhood – the rest of our lives.
When we grasp the ‘powerful effects’ of ‘why’ and ‘how’ we treat others, especially our spouses and our own children – then our positions of authority are used to empower instead of hurt or destroy – whether in parenting, coaching, or teaching – or as a leader in business and life.
As men, we are ‘ordained to be leaders’ – first in our families, then in the world. That is an awesome responsibility – we need to embrace it – reflecting the love within us.
I can speak of my faith’s journey – the most important part of my life – a topic that should be on everyone’s ‘front burner’ – because as human beings, we have a ‘terminal disease called mortality.’ The current death rate is 100%. We don’t like to ‘think about death,’ especially our own, yet, worldwide, 3 people die every second, 180 every minute, and nearly 11,000 every hour.
This brings up the question for each of us: Where will we spend eternity?
Blaise Pascal, a seventeenth century mathematician, in his infamous pragmatic argument for belief in God in Pensees, said something like this:
‘I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn’t, than live my life as if there isn’t, and die to find out there is.’
I have ‘something of value to share’ – the presentation tailored to the makeup and goals of your group or fellowship. Men, women and teenagers can benefit.
