In regard to the word ‘cult’ (as another more esteemed writer said), I mean nothing derogatory to any group so classified. A cult as I define it, is any religious group which differs significantly in one or more respects as to belief or practice from those religious groups which are regarded as the normative expressions of religion in our culture.
And, I also may add to this that a cult might also be defined as a group of people gathered around a specific person or person’s misinterpretation of the Bible.
From a theological viewpoint, the cults contain many major deviations from historical Christianity. Yet paradoxically, they continue to insist they are entitled to be classified as Christians.
Deceptive statements: “All roads that lead to God are good.” I totally disagree. The Bible says: John 14:6-7 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”
It should be carefully considered that Jesus did not say “I am one of many equally good ways”—-or “That I am a better way than the others, I am an aspect of truth; I am a fragment of the life.” Instead His claim was absolute, and allegiance to Him as the Savior of the world, was to take precedence over all the claims of men and religions.

This posted here for your information. If you are truly interested in ‘other religions,’ especially those who call themselves ‘Christian,’ I would advise you thoroughly investigate them, and their belief in Christ as the only begotten Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, walked a sinless life as ‘perfect man and perfect God’ – He is God, (deity), and was crucified on a Roman cross – the third day arose from the dead and has ascended on high to sit at the right hand of God until He comes again for us – and only by and through Him can anyone be forever redeemed and reconciled to God the Father in Heaven. I do not post this as ‘authoritative’ but as a source for information on cults.

God’s ultimate purpose is His glory. Because of a limited human perspective that sees only the evil, people wonder how He can allow crime, disease, natural disasters, or war. But we know that “God causes all things to work together for good” (Romans 8:28). Look at the cross—that device of torturous death is the greatest expression of love, of good and glory in Christianity!
God will have His way, whether we believe in His sovereignty or not. His plan is far bigger than we can grasp, and it is designed to highlight our need for Him. Isa 55:8-11 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
