(By-the-way, these Scriptural references are placed here for you to read, because ‘what I say’ is ‘my opinion’ of what I have studied, and can be biased or fallible—-only what ‘God’s Word says’ is absolute truth.)

Knowing ‘who we are’ and ‘where we are positionally’ in relationship to our Creator, our God, is so vitally important! We are ‘designed’ to ‘have relationship.’

So many struggle—-as I had for so much of my life—-because we ‘are not sure’ of ‘our position in Him.’ We do not ‘feel worthy’—–or may feel we have even ‘lost our salvation’—-and thus, our eternal position in the Lord. We want ‘to belong’—-to be a part of God’s family—-to be ‘on the team.’ To feel ‘rejected’ because of our ‘performance’ or ‘lack thereof’ can be devastating. I know!

It can even be an ‘off again, on again’ situation in our minds——of striving and then ‘failing,’ and then recognizing our sin, repenting, then confessing it, and doing some sort of penance in our minds—–or in some churches even physically or a verbal ritual—-and then being again ‘reconciled’ (accepted) back into our state of eternal salvation—–and attempting again ‘to live a Christian life’ via our own understanding, discipline and will——until we ‘fail again’—–and again repeat this self-defeating cycle over and over.
