Many would say, “Let your conscience be your guide.”

But, can we trust our conscience? (If confronted with an issue that affects you 1. morally, 2. ethically, or 3. socially.)

Whew!  That is a good question. Let’s begin by this: What is ‘our conscience?’

It is that faculty God has given us to distinguish what is morally right or morally wrong, especially as it applies to our own life—–to help us be resistant to the wrong things, to judge or convict us concerning ourselves, and is intended to help us live a moral and righteous life. This is our God-endowed gift, in every person (a universal gift) to help us make decisions morally, ethically, and socially.

Everyone has a conscience.

So, can we trust our conscience?
