Hope for a Changing World

Our lives are in direct correlation to our relationship, and how we respond to God. First, and paramount is our salvation, to be redeemed and reconciled to God the Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Then our “walk,” our daily life, is our obedience to Him, our “being in His will for us.” That is our choice,—-daily. (1 John 1: 8-10 addresses ‘when we disobey Him, or get out of His will for us,’ and ‘how to restore our relationship with Him’ so clearly, directly, and truthfully. Therefore, only our pride can keep us ‘out of relationship’ with Him, because He promises here to forgive us our sins against Him—–and to cleanse us——which is the only way He can have relationship with us.)

I have taken this text from a series of devotionals by Charles Stanley’s In Touch ministry. I hope it stimulates your thoughts and heart. It does and has mine. I struggle daily—-and see those I love struggle, some even in despair, as they cope with ‘the world’………..but, the answer is right at hand for us, in God’s Word—-if we but seek it, accept it, and obey it.
