Are Followers of Christ Narrow-Minded?
Yes! And, they should be!
The Choices We Make——-And The Consequences
This was a very self-examining sermon by Dr. Charles Stanley, that we watched this past Sunday, and I’ve taken his comments to share this with you. My life has been a struggle, even after Christ came into it to dwell with me. I am ashamed of my own walk. If I did not grasp His merciful grace, I would not believe He could love me, and more would give me His salvation, a free gift for those who accept it. So this is a tough, tough devotional, because it presents a measuring stick of life for us to compare our own lives, and to see position-wise, where we are. Also, I believe that “once saved”—–”always saved”—–so you cannot lose salvation. But I also believe our “walk” or our “relationship with Him” is conditioned by our obedience to Him, and therefore can be broken by our sin against Him———but He is faithful, and stands ready to fully restore us to Himself, as in 1 John 1:8-10.
