Notes on Homosexuality

With the elevation to Bishop of an actively “gay” priest by the Anglican/Episcopal Church, this month of August, 2003, this subject is one that is really being brought into our lives, our homes, and into our churches for consideration in our nation. To me, it further reveals the damage (it is shocking to even think this would ever be a topic of national or legal debate—–much less religious debate in churches calling themselves “Christian”), and further tears the moral fiber of our nation, our families, and our churches, as this is being editorialized and opinionated by so many, and especially the liberal press—-as they encourage us to be “acceptable and all inclusive” of this deviant lifestyle—–which now has “protected status” in our nation. Thus, I have also been exercised to address it. And in this, I bare my own darkness while a youth in rebellion to my Lord—–so no one can say this is written by someone who feels they are “self-righteous.” Again, my writing is not to “convince you”——I am not your pastor, or your Holy Spirit. I am not a scholar. I am a sinner——a vile sinner “who is a trophy of God’s grace in Jesus Christ!” So, what I write is not infallible, but is my understanding of this——to stimulate you to seek your own truth.
